Yah, I've only applied to two places for college: Concordia and Carthage! I was hoping to apply for more, but I'm a procrastinator and I applied for those rather late as it was! I got accepted to both of them, and I think I'll enjoy Carthage more. I visited it on Friday, and it's really nice, except the dorms are gonna make me becomes claustrophobic! Anyway, I have an Auditon tomorrow for their theatre department, which I'm really lucky to get, because technically auditions are over, but they must like me or something! The only thing that sucks is that I just found out about the audition today, and it doesn't give me a lot of time to prepare! I think I'm gonna do my Jaques monologue! And I'll sing Mr. Cellaphane for one song, but anyone have any suggestions for a ballad?

Oh, man, and now I have to write the frickin' 10 page paper! Grrr, I put this stress on myself! What can I say, I'm a super procrastinator! It really sucks sometimes! Ugh, Break the Habit! NOW! lol! Well, I better do some work! |

Ok, now that Cats is over, and it was sad, I'm looking forward to going to France. It's supposed to happen in about 3 weeks. But Madame Knight, somehow thinks I'm not responsable enough! She knows I'm not going to drink or do drugs or get into trouble, but she thinks I am too dependant on others, like my mom, and that I won't be able to succeed with doing stuff on my own. She think I won't be able to handle having money and my passport, and keep them secure! I'm like "what!....thanks a lot."
She feels I'm not putting enough effort in class, and is upset that I don't come up to her about things. I guess I have the idea that I should be approached by the teacher. And maybe I don't always set things up because I'm afraid I'm going to force someone to compromise on something that they really don't want to, and I prefer them to tell me what they would like 1st. But recently, she called my mother so she could give me a message. I don't understand why she couldn't just tell me! Maybe she was trying to test me, somehow. It was really weird.
And now I feel like she's disappointed in me or has this false perception of me in her head, which makes me feel horrible. I don't like knowing thar someone has bad views on me and I'm pretty paranoid about it now. She's giving me a week to prove to her that I can be responsable, or I'm not going to be allowed to go to France. I think this is totally retarded! If I don't go that means I will be losing money I have already paid for the trip with. Everything I have done thus far to be prepared for the trip, like obtaining my passport, would mean nothing! Grrrr! Ugh, here's hoping all goes well! |

Is it just me, or I am seeing tons of references to Cats all of a sudden. Just tonight, on Americain Idol, Simon compared someone's performance to an auditon for Cats. I don't get what he means, but whatever. the just a couple minutes ago I was watching Drawn Together, and it ended as if the entire show was play, and all of the sudden out of the sides Cats that resemble those in the musical appear and start bowing. It's very weird. Any other references you've seen? |

Yah the whole comment thing made a lot us pretty upset! Thanks for your support Katie and Gen! I signed into my myspace account today, hoping to get a reply from Amanda, and I did...as well as Bryce! I'm happy to say that it was all a misunderstanding! I mean that one comment didn't seem like a joke at all to me, but I guess it was. Go figure! But here is what both Amanda and Brice had to say!

Now I just feel really bad for totally dissing their show! I mean I still hate Modjeska, but a lot of people from there are really great people, and do have talent. I'm excited that they're coming to see our show, and hey, Amanda knows Nora! But don't these messages make you feel really guilty now? Although, I suggest that no one makes comments like the original one posted, because it totally sends the wrong message. So, it's not my fault. Ah, at least everything is settled! |

| Dominican vs. Modjeska |

Ok, as you know, or at least I hope you know, I've done a show at Modjeska last year. It was Fame! The worst theatre experience of my life, although I met lots of cool people! But anyway, I have a nice little group of friends from Modjeska who are on myspace. And I leave them comments about how they should come see our show and stuff. Then Amanda starts mocking me, (she played Rumpelteazer in their production), and here is what she said on Bryce's (who played Skimbleshanks) page.
"OMG LOOK AT ME I'M IN CATS AT DOMINICAN AND I'M REALLY OBNOXIOUS BECAUSE I KEEP FORCING MY SHOW ON PEOPLE!!! LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME BECAUSE MY SHOW IS BETTER THAN EVERYBODY ELSE'S!!!
LOOK AT MY MAKEUP!!!!"
I was really offended. Granted I do think our show is better than theirs, but that's not why I sent them! I'm not trying to brag, I'm just supporting our show to people who I thought would be interested in it. She left me a comment then, and gave me pics of her in make-up and stuff, which I thought was a really nice gesture because I was interested in it. But it was later that I found out that was just her mocking me trying to "force" our show on them.
Here is the comment she left:

One good point I saw today was a comment left on my blog, which I had just recently posted a bunch of pics from our cats on. This is what my friend from Brown Deer had to say:

That made me feel happy! She'll be coming to see our Cats too, so Yay! Except I dont think Modjeska is elaborate! I mean when I did a show there, they made me pay for my own make-up and charged a fee to be in it! And for what, so we can have sucky costumes, and a bad director, and a choral instructor who can't sing in the first place! I'm sorry, I just really hate Modjeska! |

| Cats...and uh.. More Cats! |

Ok after a pretty slow rehearsal, I was hoping to go see another production of Cats at the Modjeska Theatre, for a couple of reasons. I mean I really hate the place because it freaks me out, but I wanted to go because I have friends there, and to see how much better our show was! lol! I shouldn't be so cocky, but I'm sorry, but I really hate Modjeska. The kids are great, and there are a lot of talented people, but the people who work there suck and only care about getting money. I'm so mean, I feel bad now. So, it's almost 9 and the show is probably still going on, and I'm kind of upset because I really wanted to go....but I couldn't get a ride! As far as I know, Katie's car was full, and Cory was going with Nora, and by the time I was going to ask Nora, she was nowhere in sight! So, I'm a little sad.
But anyway, I love my Skimble vest! It's so soft and cuddly! But it's soooo hot when I dance! I think I'm going to leave it off until 2nd Act! I mean it doesn't always fit with me wearing a vest the whole time! In the DVD, Skimble doesn't wear it until is song, so that's pretty much what I'm going to do.
Mr. Travia is annoying me by saying I go out of tune when I sing "Do You Like Your Morning Tea!" And yah, that's the idea, I'm kind of speaking it! The original notes are too boring! So, I'm just going to continue to do it the way I've been doing it, and if he keeps yelling at me, then you guys better back me up! I know you like it better my way, too!
We looked at Tomsey's site in Chamber Choir today, and the pictures were pretty cool! Maybe I'll post some later, when I have more time! |

Ok, I've been really hyper all of a sudden.....ok, hyper than usual! Or maybe less than usual and in a more funny kind of way. I don't know, just crazy! It seems I've been saying a lot more random and insensible things that are actualy very hilarious. I know Jake and Ben seem to love them! I'm like their idol! haha, whatever! But tonight, at rehearsal I was in a pretty good mood. Katie really enjoyed my squeal at the transiton between Skimbleshanks and Macavity! And the thing is, I didn't even realize I was doing it half the time! haha, she told me not to do it again, and I ended up doing it again, unintentionally! ahhh, yah!
The Macavity fight is so cool! It's awesome! This show is going to be so good, and I'm extremely excited! hmm, and when we sneak up down the ailes in the beginning, it's fun! Freshman are starting to discover my funny craziness, and they are liking it too.
I also have to sumbit some of my poems to the literary magazine! I have like 10 that I plan on putting in there! I know I got some in it freshman year, but I never saw it, so I seemed like nothing! And for anyone who has never heard one of my poems they are deep and emotional, and probably not what you would expect from me, but that's the side that most people don't see, so I'm hoping to express them through through "Tapestry." This year it's gonne be way better, cuz Tomsey is waaay cool! I'm glad he's my teacher...he saved me from Stehle! Ok, well that's enough ranting for one night. I'm going to bed! |

I wrote an e-mail to my French brother yesterday, and I was so psyched to get a reply today! His name is Joris and he's 16.
I am so exited to go to France and live with my French family! I'm hoping to continue to exchange e-mails wih him until I leave for France in April. It's will be awesome!
On another note, tomorrow is make-up testing day, in a way, for CATS! You know what that means? As of tomorrow I am completely shaving off all my facial hair! I wonder if anyone will even notice. I might look a little weird. Yah I don't remember the last time I shaved everything! Oh well, CATS is worth it! |

I absolutely loved rehearsal for CATS today! We ran everything we knew which was...well normal for rehearsal! We played some pretty fun games at the beginning like crab racing and then we did some kind of football warm-up, but it was all good! Best of all, KATIE came back! YAAAAY!
We ran Mister Mistoffeless, and Meghan was so awesome with the dance! She's amazing! Then we finished learning Skimbleshanks, which I'm always excited about! I love doing it, because it's my chance to REALLY perform. I just wish we can get rid of the recoring of the song playing, because it always messes me up. I'm gonna sing it MY way! But for the most part, I loved it! The song is so full of energy which is perfect for me, and I get to have fun with it!
We have about a month left til Opening Night, and I'm excited for it, yet so sad too! I mean it IS going to be my last show at Dominican! I don't wanna go! And I thought last year was tough saying good-bye to last year's Seniors. Now that I actually am one, it makes it that much worse. Katie's right, it's scary! But right now, I'm gonna enjoy every moment I have left. I love you all! |

Someone was watching us during Chamber Choir today, but we couldn't see them; just their shadow. So, I yell "HELLO!" Then they run away! It was very weird.

I missed the first part of rehearsal, cuz I was still sleeping. I knew I had to come to the 1:00 one. But when I woke up my mom was gone, and there was no car to drive, and no way of getting to rehearsal! So,it's 12:30, I'm panicking, trying to find the Dominican directory to call Shane for a ride,(cuz that's where I keep his number...I suck cuz I have no cell phone) So, I remembered that I had Cory's number programmed in the home phone, and called him! YAY! I had a ride. Cory picked me up, with both Jake and Dan O, and we got to rehearsal at about a minute before 1:00. Whew!
The rehearsal itself was pretty fun! I enjoyed practicing on the stage. I loved playing around. When we did split up the Opening, and we got to watch each other, I saw Katie do the Lion! It was so funny! (Yah, I took good ol' P & S last semester, I know what that is.)We need to get everybody to do it sometime in the show. It was pretty good rehearsal, but there wasn't a lot of new stuff. At the end of the day, I asked Shane for a ride back home...and he turned me down! Bitch! lol, just kidding! Thanks to Cory, I got a ride back home, and then I just chilled out for the rest of the day! |

Wow, the Talent show was so fun! But it always I think, somewhat. I loved Dan's songs. Yah '06! And that part with me coming on in the end was totally random and unprepared. It was a lot of fun, and I'm glad that I did it...because part of me regretted not auditioning for the show. The whole thing was awesome. Fudge, Katrina, Chris, everyone, awesome!
Wow, when I sang my Skimbleshanks song tonight, it sucked! I mean the notes were all there, but where the hell did my vibrato go? Every other time I sang it, I had this beautiful vibrato in the long notes, and I felt pleased with the song. When I sang it tonight, I barely used any whatsoever! I'm disappointed now! Next time I sing it, I'm making sure I use my vibrato. I think my voice was a little horse from all those noises I made during the Talent show! |

Wow, those unitards for CATS were tight! But that didn't really bother me, much! The thing I didn't like was the neckline for my unitard. All the other guys, as far as I know, have had zipper unitards that cover everything and go all the way up the neck. Yet, mine curves down in front and back, and shows a pretty significant amount of my neck, chest and shoulders! I don't know if it supposed to be like that or not! But I'm a little worried/confused about it! Other than the neckline...they are pretty cool! |

You know, I've been sitting here wondering why I never hang out with some of my awesome school friends outside of school? I mean I would really actually love to! We have so much fun in school already. I think one of the problems is I don't have a car, and I almost never get to drive whatsoever! I'm always worried I'm not going to be able to get around places....like if I go somewhere with everyone, how will I get back home? Do I even have a way of getting to these places. I also feel awkward asking for rides, so it seems I always end up at home doing nothing! I feel like I'm missing out on so many good things, and it's probably why I'm not as close to my Dominican friends as I would like to be!
I'm afraid that once I graduate the times I spent in school with these people would mean nothing to them. That I'm simply that weird kid who's good for a laugh and that's it. It's like I don't feel like my friends have a real personal connection with me, and I think I have developed one, im my mind, for them. Ok, now I'm just getting sad. I know you guys love me! But do you really love me? Let's hang out guys! |

Cats is going so great! This show is so much work, but that's what makes it fun because you know, then that you're doing it right! I'm really excited that we're going all out with it. And I'm having a wonderful time with all my friends! Katie, Margaret, Jake, Ben, Cory, Nora, Katrina, EVERYBODY! I LOVE ALL YOU GUYS! It is really gonna be so sad when we graduate. So, you BETTER remember me, or I will be very very upset and cry in my room with my Blue Elephant!
